The National Art Museum of Catalonia (MNAC) offers, in its different sections, a complete exhibit that encompasses all art disciplines (sculpture, painting, drawing, engraving, posters, and photography and coin collections). Its aim is to provide an overview of the art of Catalonia throughout history, from the Romanesque period to contemporary style. The mythical Sweden Hotel, that was the home of Ernest Hemingway in Madrid, the place where the Che Guevara or the officious seat of the guerrista current of the PSOE lodged, could end up becoming luxury houses, according to have confirmed sources of the City council. 

The emblematic building remains closed since it was sold in April of 2006 a proprietor who the mentioned sources have not revealed, but while the dirt is accumulated already in its historical lobby they have initiated the managements to decide its future.

From the municipal Delegation of Urbanism it is indicated that the new owner has been interested in the residential use of the building, located in the select street Marquess of House Laughed, next to the Circle of Beautiful Arts and in front of the Bank of Spain. Source: elmundo.es

President of Castile-The Mancha, Jose Maria Barreda, will attend the Fair of Libro of Madrid tomorrow to present/display `Looking for Spain in Rome. Yesterday and today of an historical presence’, Manuel Espadas builds of ciudadrealeño Towns. 

The author shows through a test of historical and literary archaeology the presence of Spain in the capital of Italy. Its long stay in Rome has allowed to track and to document the tracks him in this city of Spain and some Spaniards, between whom it honors Miguel de Cervantes.
To this work of meticulous investigation and historiográfica revision the photographies of Juan are added Carlos Garci’a Allies, in their majority unpublished, which they contribute to redescubrir Rome through the track that in this city has left to España.Durante the presentation of the book, that will take place in the Pavilion of the Foundation `Circle of Readers’ of the Fair of Libro of Madrid, president Barreda and Manuel Espadas Towns will be accompanied by the journalist Dove Go’mez Borrero; by the professor of the Complutensian University Fernando Garci’a Sanz; and by the president of the publishing house Lunwerg, Juan Carlos Briñardeli Moon. Edition of the Festival will open to fire the 31 the International of Jazz of Getxo, Spain, from the 4 to the 8 of July, with a poster in which it emphasizes explaining the Cuban pianista and insigne of the Latin Chucho jazz Valdés. Most of the tourists of outside Madrid who visit the Museum of the Prado lodges preferredly in hotels of 3 and 4 stars and, although the day of greater affluence from visitors to the museum is Sunday, day of gratuitous access, most of the tourists do not choose this day by the gratuidad but because it is the day that better comes to them.
