Lluís Domènech Montaner (1850 - 1923) , architect, potilitian and writer born in Barcelona. Registered as an architect in Barcelona in 1873. In 1875, became professor and director at the Barcelona’s School of Arquitecture (Escola d’Arquitectura de Barcelona).
Along with Antoni Gaudí, one of the representative of the Modernisme Català (Art Nouveau). His most famous works, the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau and the Palau de la Música Catalana have been awarded UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Source: tourisminbarcelona

The National Art Museum of Catalonia (MNAC) offers, in its different sections, a complete exhibit that encompasses all art disciplines (sculpture, painting, drawing, engraving, posters, and photography and coin collections). Its aim is to provide an overview of the art of Catalonia throughout history, from the Romanesque period to contemporary style. Tourism im Europe: The mythical Sweden Hotel

The mythical Sweden Hotel, that was the home of Ernest Hemingway in Madrid, the place where the Che Guevara or the officious seat of the guerrista current of the PSOE lodged, could end up becoming luxury houses, according to have confirmed sources of the City council. 

The emblematic building remains closed since it was sold in April of 2006 a proprietor who the mentioned sources have not revealed, but while the dirt is accumulated already in its historical lobby they have initiated the managements to decide its future.

From the municipal Delegation of Urbanism it is indicated that the new owner has been interested in the residential use of the building, located in the select street Marquess of House Laughed, next to the Circle of Beautiful Arts and in front of the Bank of Spain. Source: elmundo.es

The news of Tourism in Europe: Museum of the Prado

The report made by the Council of Tourism describes to the visitor type of the Museum of the Prado (Madrid, Spain) like a man, of age between the 45 and 65 years, with superior formation, occupied, and with an average level of rent. 

However, distinguishing between nationalities, it is observed a greater presence of young people (25-34 years) between the foreigners and of greater (more than 64 years) between the Spaniards, and a level of greater rent between the foreign public who between the national public.
