Hundreds of conferences, exhibitions, and other events secure Seville’s reputation as one of the most important business travel destinations in Spain.
Every year, Seville hosts all kinds of fairs, symposiums, and professional meetings at the Exhibition and Convention Centre (FIBES), located at the gates of the city. It is a modern complex of futurist architecture, consisting of a main building, two lateral buildings, and three exhibition pavilions: a total of 30,000 square metres of exhibition space that includes an auditorium with capacity for more than a thousand people, conference rooms with multimedia equipment, restaurants, and cafeterias.
Seville’s accommodation capacity is beyond doubt, with around 10,000 four- and five-star hotel beds, and around 3,500 beds in three-star hotels.
The Alfonso XIII Hotel, located in a Neomudejar building, and the Casas de la Judería Hotel, located in the centre of the old Jewish quarter, in the former home of the Duke of Béjar, stand out among its unique accommodation. On the outskirts of Seville, there are three specially significant hotels: The Hacienda Benazuza (Benazuza Country Estate), in Sanlúcar la Mayor; the Casa de Carmona Hotel; and the Parador Alcázar del Rey Don Pedro, in Carmona.
