Basse Normandíe is one région of France created in 1956 that groups three departments: Calvados, Orne and the Spot.
They correspond to the old province of Normandíe that was divides in Haute Normandíe and Basse Normandíe. At the moment the capital of the Region is the city of Fall. It is nourished mainly of agriculture: the cattle, the milk sector, textile and fruit is their important industries. The iron mineral is extracted near Fall. The tourism also is importate and tells in addition on ferry that it goes to England
