Clermont Ferrand is a city of the center of France, capital of the region of Auvernia and the department of Puy-of-Dôme.
Clermont is located in center of the Central Bulk, to 410 meters of altitude. To the west, the city is dominated by the plateau on which is the mountainous chain between which it rises Puy-of-Dòme, his more famous volcano. To the east, the population extends by the valley of Limagne.
The villa is, simultaneously, a meeting point between the level cereal of Limagne and the mountain origin of Montes Dômes, crossed by an important main highway: thus, Clermont-Ferrand communicates with the freeway to Lyon (A72); Bordeaux (A89), Paris (A71) and Béziers (A75).
The city of Clermont-Ferrand is characterized to have a climate of important thermal amplitude: the warm summer in that they emphasize storms, whereas the winter is cold and dry. The pluviometría is one of lowest of France (591mm per year), and the insolation is located in the average national (1,907 h/año). The station of measures of Météo France is near the airport of Aulnat.
