Its location in the coastal plain contributes to Angers an oceanic climate (the Atlantic is hardly to 150km):

Thanks to the rich one and varied cultural life of the city, the students take advantage of many events that animate the streets throughout the year and have access to cinemas, theaters, concert halls or museums with reduced tariffs.
The students can practice many sport activities, that to them the Sport Association of THAT proposes: volleyball, handball, soccer, rugby, tennis, guard, etc.
The Association provides the access to local, regional and national competitions such as:

the Championship of the Federation of University Sports
the Glass of France de Estudiantes de Velero.
