Geneva is the capital of the corner with he himself name; it is the biggest city of Switzerland after Zurich. It is located in the western effusion from the Rhone to borders of Lago Lemán and is almost completely surrounded by French territory.

The city of Calvin has the airport (Cointrin) greater after the one of Kloten in Zurich. It also has direct railway connection with Paris and with Milan through valley of the Rhone. In Switzerland it has direct trains to the Lake of Constanza through Bern and Zurich in the Eastern end of the central Plain. In international soundings on the quality of life in the main cities of the world, Geneva usually occupies a position very near the end of the ranking.

History
Geneva already was a population at time celta. The Roman time one became an axis of the transfer. The Romans gave emporio the name him of Genava.
