The Province of Toledo is a Spanish province, in the western part of the independent community of Castile-The Spot. Location of the province of Toledo in the Spanish provincial map Limits with the provinces of Madrid, River basin, Real City, Badajoz, Cáceres, and Ávila.
The province counts on a population of 598,256 inhabitants (2005), distributed in 204 municipalities, of which Talavera of Reina is the greater one with a population of 85826 hab. (Data Ayto Talavera 31/03/2006), the second municipality is Toledo (75.533), whereas smaller it is Illán de Vacas, who, with a population of 7 inhabitants, also is smallest of Spain, next to Salcedillo, in Teruel.
It see ready of municipalities of Toledo. The province shares the National Park of Cabañeros with the province of Real City. The Tajo river crosses the province of this a the west and passs by the cities of Talavera of Reina and Toledo.
