Guipúzcoa (in euskera and officially: Gipuzkoa) is a province of Spain and an historical territory of the Basque Country. Its capital is San Sebastián. It limits with Labort in France by the east, Navarre to the south, Biscay to the west, Álava to the southwest and the Bay of Biscay to the north. Guipúzcoa has (2005) 686,208 inhabitants. Its Atlantic climate gives intense a green color him to this earth, whereas the Bay of Biscay puts the blue color to an attractive landscape for the tourists. Their people have a fort root to their culture, its traditions and their old language, the euskera.
