Guadalajara is a Spanish province located in the North part of Castile-The Spot. Its capital is the city of Guadalajara. INE 2005 and counts on 16.66 hab/km². Near 40% of them they live in the capital. There are 288 municipalities in the province, of which the three fourth parts are towns of less than 200. Guadalajara is the capital of the Spanish province of the same name. Gentilicios: arriacense, by the name Romano "Arriaco", alcarreño, to be in the zone of the Barren plateau, or Guadalajareño. Its census is of 73,730 inhabitants (in 2006) and its 267.5 extension km². It is located to approximately 55 km of Madrid and 25 of the city of Alcala de Henares.
