Ekaterinburg is located in the central section of the chain of the mountain of Ural, as soon as between Europe and Asia.
The silver, the gems, the diamonds… and the gold found first colonos, that they made the city very rich. In the Soviet times the city was the main producer of arms and was even closed for the foreigners - it is opened only recently. Another dark secret of the city is the murder of the last Russian emperor and his family in 1918.
