Soure is located to borders of an arm of the Mondego river. This old city obtained the rights of city in century XII and grew in the zone that surrounded the castle. The ruins of the castle are open to the public. In this small calm city it is possible to be practiced several nautical sports.
The Spas give Azenha are located outside the small town of Pedrogão do Pranto, on the foot of the hill and in the middle of the valley of the Pranto river, arm of the Mondego river that runs towards the sea.
The situation between two ecosystems (culture of rice and hoisted zone of) produces a flora and fauna riquísimas. In the region they live more than 300 species on birds and many are easy to observe: the fishing Martin, the real heron, the stork and the flamenco one.
In addition, there is a great variety of foliáceos, fruit trees and pines. The lagoons and the rivers that surround our bath are full of fish, frogs, prawns and crayfish. Also we can observe foxes, rabbits, hares and bats. In the valley it fishes and usually it is hunted.
The region is very apt to make diverse trips: on foot, in bicycle or to horse.
