Odivelas is a Portuguese city of the District of Lisbon, region of Lisbon and subregion of Great Lisbon, with near 53 400 inhabitants.
She is host of a very small municipality with 26.14 km ² of area and 133 846 inhabitants (2001), subdivided in 7 freguesías. The municipality limits the northeast with the municipality of Loures, the Southeastern with Lisbon and the west with Amadora and Sintra. It was created in 1998 by dismemberment of the one of Loures.
