Celorico de Basto is a Portuguese villa of the district of Braga, North region and subregion of the Tâmega, with near 2 500 inhabitants.
She is host of a municipality with 181.10 km ² of area and 20 466 inhabitants (2001), subdivided in 22 freguesías. The municipality limits the north with the municipality of Cabeceiras de Basto, to the east with Mondim de Basto, to the south with Amarante, the southwest with Felgueiras and the west with Fafe.
