Campo Maior is a Portuguese villa of the District of Portalegre, Alentejo region and subregion of the Alentejo Stop, with near 7 900 inhabitants.
She is host of a municipality with 247.26 km ² of area and 8 387 inhabitants (2001), subdivided in 3 freguesías. The municipality limits the north and the east with Spain, the Southeastern with the municipality of Elvas and the west with Arronches.
