Amadora it is a Portuguese city that pertence to the District of Lisbon, Region of Lisbon, with near 151,500 inhabitants (2001).
She is host of one of the smallest municipalities of Portugal, with only 23.77 km ² of area and more than 175 872 inhabitants (2001); subdivided to command post 11 freguesías. The municipality is limited the northeast by the municipality of Odivelas, to the Southeast by Lisbon, the south and the west by Oeiras and to the west and north by Sintra.
