Almada, old land of fishermen and sailors who today have become “city dormitory” of Lisbon.
Bridge 25 of April is the unique thing that separates Almada of Lisbon, but before arriving at the capital it is necessary to also discover the enchantments of Almada. A stroll by the wharf of Ginjal or a romantic trip in the “cacilheiros” through Edge allows to enjoy unforgettable views of hills of Lisbon, from the border opposed to the capital.
Nevertheless, the views do not finish here, since the panoramic elevator of Olho de Boi, that unites the old helmet of Almada with the old shipyards, always recreates the Vista to us with Lisbon like protagonist. More surprising still the statue of Christ Rey, constructed in the point upper of Almada is and watching towards Lisbon: in addition to their protective action on the city, from fantastic images of the Tajo river are enjoyed here losing itself in the sea.
