Latium it is a region of the center of Italy, that limits with the Toscana, Shade, Abruzzo, Molise, Campania and the Tirrenean Sea. The capital of the region is Rome. The name of the region goes back to the old town of the Latins, from which the Romans descended.
The Latins founded a group of establishments that were united against Etruscan and the samnitas, which happened during the Roman domination in the 338 a.C. To all the Latins the Roman citizenship occurred them after the social war of the 90 a.C.
Latium it is extremely important by his history, art, architecture, archaeology, religion, and culture in general.
