As it is easy to imagine, the most important monument that one is in You take root is the complex of the Basilica of San Francisco that is made up of two overlapping churches: the inferior part, of the 1228-1230, the superior part of 1230-1253 and one cripta escavada in 1818 that lodges the tomb of Santo. The Basilica was decorated by the best painters of the 1200 and 1300, from Cimabue to Giotto happening through the Lorenzetti and Simone Martini. In the convent is the important Treasure constituted by rare codices, paintings and several relics.
To the Seat of the Comune the Roman Temple of Minerva of century I a.C and the underlying Roman Forum are shown. Also the Basilica of Santa Clara, constructed Italian gothic style between the 1257 and 1275 that conserves in its interior pictorial works of centuries XII to the XIV, and suggestive Cathedral of San Rufino is important whom an adorned románica facade with three presents/displays rosones.
