The city, from very old origin, arises at heart and in slopes of a tube (precipice).
In addition to the Cathedral of century XIII of estile Romanesque pullés, the “Sassi” is famous, with the rooms constructed on the others in slopes of a toboso spur: some excavated completely within the rock, have only the facade constructed with walls. Also the Park of the Rock Churches is interesting (Sparing delle Chiese Rupestri).
