The state of Sajonia enjoys one long industrial tradition. The triangle formed by the cities of Dresde, Leipzig and Chemnitz was the industrial heart of Germany until World War II. The Meissen city with medieval, famous architecture anywhere in the world by the fine porcelain: in 1710 Polish king Agosto the Fort initiated the production of the first European porcelain in the gothic castle Albrechtsburg. From the first years, the Meissen manufacture was providing official of many German and European cuts. Until nowadays he himself traditional method of the production it is continued using.
