Bordering to the Berlin capital, Brandeburgo (German Brandenburg) is one of the 16 federated States of Germany. It limits: to the N with the state of Western Mecklemburgo-Pomerania, to the E with the Oder river with Poland, to the S with the state of Sajonia, to Or with the state of Sajonia-Anhalt. It surrounds to the state of Berlin.
The state of Brandeburgo that extends around the German capital, Berlin, nowadays counts between the Länder poorest of our country. After the fall of the RDA, there was an attempt to unify it with the rich neighbor of Berlin, but the population did not allow. They were scared of which “the bear” of Berlin devoured “the eagle” of Brandeburgo.
