Baden-Wurtemberg (in Baden-Württemberg German) is one of the sixteen federated states of Germany called Bundesländer. It is located in the southwest of the country, to the east of the Rin river.
It limits: to the N with the state of
Hesse, to NE and E with the state of
Baviera, to the S with 334 km with
Switzerland, to Or with
France (region of
Alsacia), and to NOT by the Rin river with the state of
Renania-Palatinado.
It is the result of the union between the independent states of Baden and Wurtemberg, from 1952 and thanks to a popular consultation.
It is located in the southwest of Germany and is one of the States most attractive and visited by the tourism. Account with as beautiful places as the Black Forest, the lake of Constanza, valleys of the Rhin and the Danube and mountains of the Kaiserstuhl. Stuttgart, its capital, is a proud modern large city of its concert hall Liederhalle and the zoological Wilhelma.
